After the Long Marsdon aviation museum/collection had sadly closed its doors, the Shackleton MR3, serial number WR985, was among a group of larger airframes that were not relocated

But parts of the Long Marsdon 'Shak' have been used on other UK restorations:

Stored or under restoration
On display
Thanks, atleast some of the airframe parts are going to good use, I live near the shackleton at Duxford, unfortunately not currently on display and theres been talk of the airframe been sold on. The props have been cut to suit for long term storage, along with the engines being removed with extensive corrosion being revealed in the interior.

The propeller blades were bent when a parked Max holste Broussard aircraft was blown into the shackleton during a storm.

Just a heads up- the aircraft (apart from the shackleton) are on the move, not much left on site now.

The Sea Prince has being moved from its resting place. The Shackleton has had ballast added to the aircraft to account for the effect that the missing engines have on its centre of gravity. So the intention would be to tow the Shackleton to a hard standing. While the Meteor appears to be in the process of being dismantled.
