Second visit to Macclesfield ROC Post, stupidly i didn't take my camera the first time and my GoPro footage was too poor to use...
Despite hearing this bunker was locked i was please to find the cover next to the hatch when we got there, however the locking bar was on the floor inside the bunker itself and looked like it had been broken off.
It also appears that somebody went to take one of the mattresses but then decided not to as this was on the floor at the bottom of the hatch soaked in water.
This monitoring post opened October 1965 and closed October 1968.
To the person who lost your camera, i found it
It's still there if you want to go and collect it!
