I've wanted to see these arches for ages and they didn't disappoint :D

I think a return trip is on the cards as I'm not happy with these pics but I only had 2 P7s on me for lighting and I managed to get a drop of water on the lens.

It's a top quality drain with loads of different sections and tons of wildlife.

The name Bradford is derived from the "broad ford" at Church Bank (below the site of Bradford Cathedral) around which a settlement had begun to appear before the time of the Norman Conquest ("Bradeford" in the Domesday book of 1086). The ford crossed the stream called Bradford Beck.

At the turn of the 19th century, Bradford was a small rural market town of 16,000 people, where wool spinning and cloth weaving was carried out in local cottages and farms. The Industrial Revolution led to rapid growth, with wool imported in vast quantities for the manufacture of worsted cloth in which Bradford specialized, and the town soon became known as the wool capital of the world, the Beck being one of its main power sources

Good to see the water levels have dropped again, last time me and Squiz went in there it was waist deep, that said it had rained hard for a week so was to be expected really..

And we managed to float a beer barrel down too.

The cathedral section is hard to light, think I used about 7 different lights including a headtorch on a tripod...

Loved Macro, its the definitive Northern culvert experience.
