Yes it did smell of wee and sometimes sugarpuffs.
PLANS to convert a disused nursing home in the heart of Malvern into flats, and build more housing in the grounds, are set to be decided next week.
The applicant, a Dr Rajah of Birmingham, wants to convert Malvernbury in Babey Road into eight apartments, and build a new block of three townhouses and a separate coach house.
The application has attracted objections from a number of local residents, who describe it as overdevelopment that will destroy the setting of the existing house, and overlook neighbouring houses causing loss of privacy.
The application is up before Malvern Hills District Council's southern area development control committee on Wednesday, June 15.
Planning officers are recommending that approval is delegated subject to section 106 payments for educational and open spaces contributions.
