A number of years ago I went in there when it was in use, it wasn't exploring related but worth a look if you are into that stuff, It's no Zuby though

4_1.jpg

It's got some ok features, was some drop in center/youth club whatever a few years back, it's open here and there and you can just wander in

Problem is in Manc nobody seems to be interested in this sort of thing and to some extent that includes me, I'd rather spend my spare time in drains really

Hopefully one day the youf will get bored with rooftops and go exploring

Well the first one was a 'foreigner type jobbie' I did ages ago now, prob 2009-2010, it was more like a sweat shop, I didn't see all of it so difficult to tell really

I've always loved the architecture of it, I know an asian fella who owns a lot of properties around those parts, he has some similar places around Ardwick area

As for the church, I wandered in as you do out of curiosity one day whilst passing, nobody really bothered me, I didn't think it was all that, but then someone who spends his spare time sniffing :turds would say that

Ardwick and Northern Quarter is full of gems, even China Town.. maybe I'll go and take the 50mm and D800 for a whirl once I'm properly back in Manc, besides I need a break from sewers and let's face it I can't see anyone else bothering unless someone like Speed spent some time here

Infact it does pain me to see so much stuff go without being looked at in Manc really, each time I come back I see enough to keep someone busy for months and then we get all these silly "is there anything to do in Manc" threads

Open your f00king eyes is my best advice, but I can't say that on a n00b thread, one needs to set an example ;)

On the 6th picture which I think is an abandoned mill correct me if not, I've been in there about a year and a half ago when an event was hosted there, absolutely huge rooms but nothing in them but the foundations unfortunately

Pretty sure the top one is live too. Looks empty, few smashed windows overgrowth etc but im sure it is live atm. Or it was when i was living around the corner last year.

There is LOADS in Manc as Ojay says, I really need to pull my finger out. Just don't like going on my own these days.

Anyone reading this fancies a mooch give me a shout

I'm doing my best in that part of the world at the moment, and that's just catching up on the stuff that's already been found. I agree there is a lot being missed, trouble for me it's a 2 hour drive before I even start mooching, and two hours home afterwards!

Last time I was up I had a list of 20 mills and I got in 2... I'm fully aware new stuff takes work but I do like to put some time between trips like that, it becomes disheartening after a while!!

Attend one of the church services on a Sunday that are held in the mill as there is a few. That's your way in
