Hi All,

This is my first post on here so please forgive me if I have started a thread on the wrong forum.

Through a number of different reasons I am unable to take a look at a site in Salford Manchester, I wondered if any of you guys might want to take a look at it.

The building was a squash and fitness center but has been closed for as long as I can remember (25-30 years) , when I was a kid I remember getting into the place by a roof window and was amazed inside as the place was as if everyone had just uped and left with everything still intact. anyway shortly after that the doors and side windows were bricked up and to my knowledge it has been closed ever since, there was a for sale sign up a few years back so I phoned the estate agent that was located somewhere south of Birmingham, anyhow they said the place was no longer up for sale? the place has sat empty for donkeys years.....

if anyone wants to take a look on Google earth/street view the postcode of the medical center next door is M5 5JR if you go on street view on willows road you can easily pick it out. (on Google earth there is a rugby club over the road, this has been demolished)

if anyone fancies a look or has any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch

cheers

This sounds like gold! I wouldnt mind checking it out. By the looks of it from Google Earth there is an opening round the side where a window used to be although quite high up

Hey guys, thanks for following up on this post. Ojay your absolutely right it is amazing how they haven't knocked it down or turned it into flats? I remember when the house prices were through the roof before the crash and I thought it would have gone then but nope........if I remember right it was a company down in the south of England that had a for sale sign up there but it disappeared some years back. Like I said I don't live far from there so if any support or info needed just give me a shout.

the place has got me really intrigued now, maybe its harbouring a secret why it hasn't been demolished ?

Cheers
