Whilst in Manchester, visiting my other half True-British-Metal (TBM) he arranged a tour of Manchester Town Hall Clock Tower. The tour started at 7pm and we were at the top with the bell when it rang at 8pm. This not for anyone with Vertigo that’s for sure. 
The bell tower is 280-foot high. The clock bell named Great Abel, weighs 8 tons and hasn't ever been swung, its simply too heavy and is rung by hitting it with a large hammer instead. It is inscribed with the line "Ring out the false, ring in the true".
