This was a bit of a weird one. We rolled up to the main gate in the middle of the night to find the lights on but nobody around. We parked up on a dirt track, after nearly driving across somebody's lawn, and went to sleep. Not long after sunrise we staggered through bushes and thistles until we found the first building. Some of the site is in use and there was a moment when we dived into a tangle of brambles to escape a tractor that was mowing the edges of the tracks that run through the asylum. All in all it was a pretty good site, it passed the time until the pharmacy opened anyway.
