Report - Mansfield Woodhouse Slaughterhouse / butchers: April 2012

Spotted demolition of a set of Houses / Butchers which used to have a slaughterhouse in back. Slaughterhouse was up to 70s / early 80s (as father in law informs me) Butchers (Townrows) till mid 90s. Tried researching further info but couldn’t find any reference.
Entered first house only to be met by cat jumping out window as I peeked my head through (cue horror film scene)! After reinserting my heart into my chest checked out the house, nothing special so moved onto slaughterhouse bit which they had already begun demolishing.
