So here is my first report 
a bit of info:
From what limited info i could find Marksend quarry opened in 1830's but I’m not too sure, the ownership of the land has changed hands several times in the past 10 years with its name also changing each time ownership was shifted it is also been known as Bridge quarry and Got quarry.
The rock being taken mainly consists of Lime stone, sand stone and grit stone. There is also several mines around the area one of which still needs reviewing but at an earlier time we found about 2 miles of a mine system that looked like it used to connect to the quarry, on with the report;
