You don't see many reports from me these days and then shitloads come your way so im sorry for my inane waffling in the write ups ,i normaly post something brief then slap pics up!

Megatron is a massive storm drain ( if its nto a storm drain my bad but it's been reported on as such) and a culverted section of the river sheaf just before it joins the river Don in the city centre. This was top of my list and first location visited after a nights kip at pauls.

Upon entering after a quip hop of a fence and down into the main drag i was i have to admit not disappointed by what greeted me.quick wlk upstreak for a few shots which may have come out better if it was dark but hey ho..then off we went downstream past varying sections of different construction types, there are many deeper holes to navigate around so as much as staring up and around at my surroundings i paid attention to where i put my feet as we trundled down sloped past arches and into some pretty cool massive spaces..

Thanks again to paul for his guidance as i managed to stay up right and not go over once in here which he took great pleasure in telling me that others has done :thumb

Pics...In some form of order i think..

Shortly after coming down from our entry point i was greeted by this

Not being blessed with drains of this nature in my neck of the woods this really was somewhere i could go back time and time again there is so many angles and shots to be had

There is a shot i got before we reached this point but i will put that in later in order i took them coming back through.

and moving along

on arriving at this i opted for which of the three to wander down and made our way further down towards that fuck off big chamber i knew we where coming up to ,grabbing a few shots along the way

And then there was this ..Paul kindly guided me infront of the bright light coming up from the end and i waved my Big torch around for ten seconds to try and light the place as best i could without to much burning out from the natural light

one of paul for good measure

I said to paul what where the chances of me being able to walk up and back light all three sections of the tunnels and i had to agree with him ,it just wasnt really happening so this had to do!

This was the shot i really wanted and i wanted it as spot on as poss so cheers for the patience paul i took this 4 times in total and this was the winner

Time to pack off and crack on,had a brief visit to the underground medical centre but i wasn't overlty blown away by it so didn't get my camera out, that and the fact paul said he could smell death and on further investigation we found the source of it.R.i.p Kitteh..
