This post was in use from 1958 until September 1991. Currently both the post itself and the Orlit A hut are very overgrown and the FSM pipe seems to have been removed. The post itself is dry and in somewhat good condition although it has been mostly stripped. Interestingly there is a red stripe with the number 17 on one of the walls.
