The fact this place is still recognisable, yet alone somewhat standing, is a small miracle.

Here and Denbigh are pretty unique apart from some smaller ones in scotland they are the only mental health hospitals to be allowed to just fully be left to people and the elements and come ruin, there well done because there easy but they are still fantastic places worth seeing.Wow, some nice pics there and really interesting to see the decay. I went in 2023 and it felt so far gone by then to the point where as photogenic as it was I wasn't super keen on the place, but I never had a good look around all the wards properly so I think maybe I dismissed appreciating it in full. Interesting to see that the hall has now started to moss over, that's quite nice. It's such a shame it got to this point but given that it has, it seems to have aged in a way no others have.
