Visited with @stranton AKA Magnum one sunny morning after he"d come across it after wandering @ Canal Street the night before ....... only Joking visited while waiting for @Coolboyslim to turn up
Even after searching the old Internet i"ve not managed to find much out about this building (which is unusual) It"s an old Canalside Shipping Warehouse, which has been heading for development for quite a while now along with other local buildings, but things appear to have stalled. it appears that nothings been done recently inside the place other than a clean up and a failed attempt to remove rotten wooden flooring, which appears to be most of it above the first floor. With sections partitioned off behind padlocked hoardings.
The proposed development is here:-

We had high hopes this was going to be a gem, another George Barnsley"s if you will, unfortunately the only similarity is the previously mentioned rotten floors of Death! It"s basically been cleaned out of anything a long time ago apart from the wheeled cart (thankfully as it"s the only thing worth taking a pic of
The high point apart from waiting for my mate to fall through the rotten floor above my head as bits of rotten wood fell around me was staring out of the windows watching the costumed characters wandering @ Canal Street on their way to a Comicom ? event. I just wish i"d got a pic of Kick-ass strutting his stuff with one in each hand
On the way out i smashed my head on a steel pipe which developed into a Migraine and F@cked up the rest of my day so i"ll remember this place for a while
So here goes, the best of a bad bunch.....such is life
