So it seemed like a good idea to pay a couple of visits here through the night.
A large site with a various array of large aperture synthesis radio telescopes.
Built over a number of years since 1958.

1.The 4C Array. 450 metres long and constructed of 60 odd km of refector cable.

5.The One Mile and Half Mile Telescopes. Set on an 800 metre track which is raised by 5cm at one end to account for the curvature of the earth.

Great stuff buddy, as said nice to see different perspectives on it... The wide angle is top for this place.. Popped by here the other night and got stung to bits by killer nettles.

You forgot a location in the title :P
