A fine walk through the countryside to this post. Best place to park is by Much Hadham church.
Last time I was here - March 2009 - the post was tightly closed and the hatch was wedged using two allen keys between the hatch and the frame. Solid rust all around and obviously no-one had been in for a considerable while.
This time, the hatch was still closed, but the allen keys have gone and it was clear that the T-Bar (?) lock was the only thing keeping it closed. The hatch is now loose and it would appear that someone has been in here recently.
That aside, the site is getting very overgrown and the concrete is breaking up.
