These Chalk caves were originally carved out for their chalk then later on during the war as RAF Gravesend was a few fields over the caves were used to store ammunition not much history is know about these caves and that they are not documented well there are 3 caves each having an entrance and all connected interesting fact about the cave a morris miner went on a joy ride and ended up in there in 1972 now its very hard to see it as mostly buried can still see little parts of it Picture of car before heavily buried First Report Enjoy!!!
