The MV Chica was built in 1894 and first launched in Norway, there's various stories knocking about in regards to the ship being used to smuggle tobacco etc, then lastly being brought to the river weaver near Dutton, Cheshire to do trips on the river in the early eighties, in the nineties she started taking water on board which led to her capsizing away from the river bank and resting on the river bed at an estimated angle of 43 degrees.

6. After a lot of laughs and floating around dodging a inquisitive swan I decided to take a punt and get on board.

7. My foot nearly went through the deck on a few occasions, but I think it was worth it to get a shot of this.
