HISTORY - opened in 1906 this grade 2 listed building was built for Manchester and county bank by architects mills and murgatroyd, this was Oldhams second branch.
In 1970 it was taken over by NatWest and the building therefore became a NatWest branch.
In 1995 NatWest merged there Yorkshire street branch with the Oldham mumps branch and the building closed.

THE EXPLORE - we explored this place back in 2019 and it was one of the easiest places we’ve found,we spent a while scoping the area out and noticed no on site security or cameras which was a rareity for us, the only downside was being next to a busy main road, never the less After a while trying to figure out good climbing routes or holes I. Windows we found a way in which involved none of this as it was underground.the place had signs that it was being renovated but the old structures which made this place so interesting we’re still here to enjoy and the views from the roof were also pretty good although I failed to capture any on photo.
I presume this place has since been renovated and used for something else as it was being done up when we visited and I’ve not seen any posts since.

It wasn't being done up when I tried it last year, it was sealed however much to my annoyance.
