After having little luck in Liverpool we travelled though the Wallasey Tunnel to Birkenhead, After a couple of hours driving around we stumbled upon these.
Built by NEI Cranes Ltd in 1981 these cranes are currently situated next to the West Float dock in Birkenhead.
After getting up to the cab and then on to the platforms above, the jib ladders loomed in front of us with Rookie not even considering it. Aos doesn’t seem to be scared of anything so after some persuasion I followed him up the ladders to the top.
