Hi guys. Fairly new member. Been lurking and reading for a while as a guest. There are a few sites in the area that don't show up on a search so thought I'd start checking some out. I'm not sure of the current working status of this quarry. I've been watching it over the past few months and sometimes it seems active although the machines and workings are pretty trashed. A lot of the electrical cable was stripped a few years ago so I guess it's not been used to its full since then. New machines and bits seem to be stored there and the has been recent activity from Cappagh.
Not much info about the site although it's changed hands from RMC, Readymix, Hanson and Cemex since I've lived in the area.
Pictures are only from iPhone as I was passing so stopped in to check current status.
