Hello everyone

This is my first report I know it has been done a few times on here so won’t go into huge detail on this.
For over fifty years, Pyestock was host to the development and testing of gas turbine engines. From the 1950s through to the 1970s, it was the largest facility of its type in Europe (if not the world), and the design, experimentation and testing at Pyestock helped to usher in the jet age. From running up Concorde's Olympus jet engines in a simulated supersonic conditions through to the endurance checking of every gas turbine installed in the ships of the Royal Navy, Pyestock's credentials were extremely impressive.

We explored pyestock last night 3/1/20 all that was left was the Anechoic facility, such a shame to see such a big part of history left to rot away,I’m almost 100% sure this building hasn’t got long left as the building site is creeping closer each day,it has already taken what was the other 3/4 of pyestock.
Sorry for the picture quality all I had was my camera and no other lighting.

Good to see there's at least some of it left!
I think this was still in use by one of the aerospace companies when Pyestock was being demo'd.
