Myself and Saxofilis decided to visit this site after me and vivo noticed they had left the doors open slightly the previous night.

The lower floors of the building are used as a car park but we were visiting after hours. The higher floors had a few offices and work areas but nothing spectacular about the place, maybe except for the number of rotting carcases of pigeons.

We made it up to the rooftops though which somehow made the small trip wothwhile, some nice views, including a good view of the overall site from the previous visit to the other buildings.

Re: Mini-Report: Newcastle Breweries former bottling plant. 23-06-07

It's open most days I thought they locked up by 7PM, the office building that faces St. James Metro is the difficult one.

Agree about that, TheP had a quick look round the office block.

Anyway, a few pictures. Mostly machines and beer.

One of the many lift machine rooms. What surprised me about this site was there is hardly any pidgeons about.

Think these are quite rare, all the clocks in the building would have been syncronised to this master;
