History
Newlands Catholic School FCJ, is a mixed 11-16 Catholic, state school in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, England. The school has been awarded Specialist Maths and Computing College status.
It is owned by a religious order, the Faithful Companions of Jesus (FCJs) who originally came to Middlesbrough in the 19th century at the request of the Bishops. It was originally a girls school before it was amalgamated with St Mary's the local boys school.
The school motto is Fortiter Et Recte, which in Latin means "Bravely and Justly".
In 2009 Newlands School will officially be renamed to Trinity Catholic College

I heard this closing back in June 2010 when my Mam told Solomon about it, as of course he was interested to explore his old school and see the changes or non changes, Obviously this is something iv now been wanting to do and been waiting since I started exploring in September, it was a very strange feeling walking back through the corridors and going into classroom again, it wasn't very special but had a lot of meaning to me to explore anyway s ...
