After being lost for a solid hour, we eventually stumbled upon the wonder that is NGTE Pyestock. Having seen the many previous reports, we were surprised to say the least by its vast scale. Upon entry, we realised that the last night’s snowfall was both a help and a hindrance. We were able to see where the landyman had been during that day, yet it also showed the landyman our footsteps, helping him to track us. Despite this, we headed inside for a interesting day’s explore.
Things began to turn slightly sour towards the end when we had to help one of our explorers out of the dark tunnel with the blast doors. This created a lot of noise and brought unwanted attention from the security. We reached the bridge and were about to climb onto it when we saw the dreaded white land rover just down the road about 20 metres away. As soon as we turned to hide under the bridge, it accelerated right at us and stopped on top of the bridge we were hiding under. This was tense. After about a minute of deathly silence he drove off speedily, giving us a chance to break cover and sprint to the woods for defiltration.
Overall, it was a good day with the compulsory adrenaline rush.
