A revisit to Nice 'n' Steady today! I proceeded past where i stopped yesterday for another couple hundred meters, making it to the chamber tarkovsky and his mate went to have a look at it in high flow. I noticed today that the water was slightly higher than yesterday which wasnt much of a problem. Anyway heres the photos!

Stood at the outfall giddy like a child on christmas morning!!!

Tunnel getting smaller.. It went to a 5ft rcp, it was way slippier than the 6.5ft section...

It then got rather stoopy.. My back was destroyed!!

Looking back at the 5ft pipe.

At the chamber here, I quickly got out as the smell was yuck!!

Walking back... in the 5ft pipe here getting covered in cobwebs, still brushing it out my hair...

Little chamber.

This massive penstock... what is it for? Its operated from ground level.. glad to see that in this bit I was able to rest my back.

Water clashing with my waders.

Nice to see others having a crack at local drains! I've got a video somewhere of that mid section in full flow, not somewhere ya want to be. Keep it up!

That drain is actually a brook! Starts near manor top. Can get to Darnall underground from the don. Short stretch above ground , then under again....surface in Bowden woods. Watch the weather......that brook can flood in 15 minutes!!!
