So after upgrading to a full frame Nikon D700 what are the best options for a decently priced wide angle lens?
I'd love to hear from those that have the D700 and what kind of wide angle lens they use.
I've got a budget of about 500 quid to play with.

Cheers.

The new Nikon 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5G is supposed to be a very good lens, you can get them new for about £500. There aren't many available used, despite the lens model being 3 years old, which I guess says something about them. I was going to buy one myself, but in the end paid a little more and got a used 16-35mm f/4 instead. I figured £50 more was worth it for 2mm wider, VR and weather sealing.

(I have a D600 btw)
