The hospital grounds are part of Nocton hall which is located just metres away, used in the wartime the hospital was built to care for 1000s of patients (including the hall) however in all it's years it has been left to decay and waste away; and of course it is supposedly haunted...
The site is rather sizeable with multiple buildings all overgrown making it look like a small town, nevertheless there is still beauty captured by its conformity and straight hallways that seem to go on as far as the eye can see, dancing with the light which compliments it well.
The grounds were built by the RAF to conjoin with the hall to be used for patients from both the British and U.S staff, it has been used from WW1 stretching to the Gulf War, it had cutting edge facilities at it's disposal during it's prime. There are numerous buildings and these images are just a selection of what lies at the site.
At the main gate leading off from the Hall.
One of the first buildings we came across upon our entrance.
Unfortunately could not capture the perspective.
One of the rooms used for patients which would have been filled with beds and equipment.
A corridor which seemed to go on forever.
The main hospital building which had many long corridors and junctions.
The colour coded directions.
Self explanatory
Another neverending corridor
Some glass cabinets with the glass littered across the floor
Can't help but think this would be a wonderful site for Airsoft
Haunting...
