Report - Old Bailey's Garage And Ballroom | Selsdon, South Croydon, London April 2022

I visited this building earlier today without any prior knowledge to the place being a garage, this was the first building I explored. Getting in was a pain in the ass, being a short stack I couldn't use the conventional 'jump over the fence method' and had to be a bit more creative. Once inside the area I was immediately jumped by a good 5 or so pigeons, there were A LOT of pigeons and A LOT of bird shit when I went; Lots of bottles and cans were around the back too. Shrubbery is really thick along the side, bad idea going through that. Interesting place, would recommend to check out if you have the time.

Not sure what the current status of the application is but plans have been submitted for demolition and 37 new dwellings "reflect[ing] the essence of the Art Deco style"

Planning application submitted for the old garage site in Selsdon High Street

We have been advised by the developer that a planning application has been submitted for the old garage site next to Aldi in Selsdon High Street. It is not yet on the council web site but should hopefully be posted shortly. A brochure provided by the developer is attached.
