I've pretty much hung up the boots, and the drawer of one-time awesome torches is slowly decaying.
In the years since I "retired" I've seen here and around some genuinely amazing explores.
In recent years, I think one of the high watermarks of exploring was seeing 28 days later referenced by The Economist. Exploring has grown from being a slightly geeky persuit (add a lust for adrenaline + photos) to a recognised, if anarchic, part of documenting history.

So, I've decided to dig some old photos out. I'm not sure what the posting etiquette is here. For (my) convenience, I'm going to do a series of post as replies here.
Mods shout and advise.

Somewhere in the 80s I saw a warehouse at a gig. It was an amazing gig. Decades later, I saw it again. I HAD TO GET IN.
Pig of building back then. Novice me: Do loads of recces, photos. Bingo. Work out where the vulnerbility is. Buy a telescopic ladder. Team up with mates, dawn raid it, proper dark. A month or so later, I team up with another explorer.
