Walking through town and I saw this place. It used to be Yorkshire Artspace before they moved to Persistence Works, and used by RGAP (the Research Group for Artists' Publications); then was turned into Access Space / AVEC Buildings (A.V.E.C. (AUDIO VISUAL ELECTRONIC CONTRACTORS) LIMITED) keeping it in 'the arts' as office/studio/workshop space- there was an Escape Room occupying the lower floor pre-pandemic. RIP.
Going further back in time a fried fish dealer - Frank Flood - was listed at part of the building's address in 1905. Ordnance Survey maps up to 1955 shows a Pearl handle works, then by 1963 the Pearl Handle Works is replaced by the building that stands before us now.

Sat in the Cultural Industries Quarter for conservation, it's been earmarked for demolition- granted December 2020, with short lease tenancies occurring up until September last year. It's considered a negatively impacting building to the area's heritage. Not alluding too much to access, but it looks like someone had started.

Yeah I eyed this up last September as I walk past it every day for work, then forgot about it when I started working from home then heard it got cleared. This confirms it for me. Decent pics though considering!
