This was our first taste of Swedish Urbex, and we weren't dissapointed.

History

South of Grängesberg, in the mountain side is a converter station which was decommissioned in 2000. It has two tube for the arrangement of converters on railroad trailer, which was moved along the rail. The facility was built in two stages, one of which is reportedly built 1944-1945 and the second built in 1961-1962.
The Inverter station is currently up for sale.
