I was just contemplating an evening sat in front of the TV listening to the Mrs suffering with a cold, coughing and sneezing germs all over whilst expecting me to be sympathetic.
Cue text from Ojay.......... Fancy Optimus prime followed by the Arches ?
Erm, yeah........... me ..."right i'm off out".......Mrs "what about me ?"........ Laterz

Very short into borrowed from fishbrains report.

Optimus Prime is a culvert that takes the stinking River Irk underneath Manchester, passing under Victoria Station. There are a couple of nice features down here, including the famous wooden cattle bridge and morgue shoot, used for getting the dead meat on to boats.

It's the sheer size of this that's impressive, and it was nice to not get wet for once, pictures haven't turned out as good as i had hoped but here goes......

Big thanks to Ojay once again for the trip out and all the tips (plus knowing my own camera better than i do) :thumb

I'm sure he will add some better shots at some point.
