My second European hospital visited in Italy. This was one of my favourite explores purely because there was stuff inside and not a complete empty shell.
Researching the place, it started life as a mental hospital/asylum in 1872 and continued so until closure in the 1990s being empty ever since. A fairly large complex, I spent a good couple of hours there before heading off to the next destination and I also finally met my first Italian explorers on my way out!
So here are the pictures. Sorry if they are a too much, but I tried to capture the feel of the place!
