Myself, OT & Madmax decided to have a quick look...
You wouldn't believe how cold it is up North!

This is an interesting place.
I've driven passed it so many times over the years and wondered what it was all about.
As Sixx said, I'd also seen mini's report and while we were up in the area I thought we might as well call in.
Shame the buildings are tightly sealed, but still worth a look around.
The weather was a nightmare though, my camera got soaked, which was nice

UPDATE

It had already been reported on 28dl that the Research Lab and Dish at Oxenhope had been flattened. I'd really wanted to get inside the buildings at some point, as other members had managed to do late last summer.
Anyway, me and Squirrell were in the area, on an afternoon of Mill exploring and decided to go passed and see the devastation for ourselves.

A brand new Pallisade Fencing Gate, but the rest of the fence is the same old wire :crazy
Only the small Brick building (now repainted) has survived

Where the Radar Dish stood for all those years - RIP

Apart from that, all that remains now is the single Comms Mast and a couple of rain water new Experiment Stands for the Uni.
