This one was built back in 1957. It's a small site, on the side of a hill, in the middle of nowhere. The grounds are still used for mobile masts. So security is minimal but there are cameras on the site.
I last visited this one in 1999. Then it was fully overgrown with brambles and stuff. Most of the windows were still in and most of the Telecom equipment was still in place.
Going back today I found At least 95% of the equipment has gone. There are no windows and all the brambles are gone.
The only trouble I had was the mass of horse flies. I will be taking a bucket load of cheap aftershave next time, they hate it
