Following our exit from 'the previous quarry', OT, Paulo and Rug made our way to the second quarry of the night, underneath the 13th district of Paris.

Access - easy - down this...

We then had a bitch of a crawl, barely enough room...

The bag just fits through...

Some graffiti by the PAP, a French underground exploration group...

and one of the many fliers left around, it's part of the culture and not considered litter. This one is advertising an art display in a mine...

Finally, our stopping place for the night. Hammocks up, food and beer out...

A stencil...

Just something we passed (a few times I think  )...

Then, while Paulo was photographing one room, me and Rug went to find this, the 13th district mineralogy office. It's been backfilled with deads and dirt, but still just accessable...

The top of the steps...

Each of the mine offices had the compass points on the ceiling. Some have not survived, but this one was quite good...

Next, onto the PTT room. This is under a large post office, and it has a fascinating twin stairwell to the surface, and it looks like this was a WW2 shelter conversion...

One of the biggest rooms I have seen under Paris...

It was a bit foggy down there...
