Explored with Squirrell911, Alias, his friend Max, Bigjobs and Skydiver.

Well the first four all met up gradually en-route, got our supplies and got underground. We decided to explore the Vanne Aqueduc first, to place us in the South when Bigjobs and Skydiver would meet us later.

Visually it's one of the most appealing places in the GRS.

First news from there, is the Le Passe Murraille has been repaired a bit...

Still beaten up but it's a solid repair.

This what we came to see, the arches and water...

Then on to the stairs and plaque...

We don't usually go further than this, but this time we went all the way south, and it was nice to see a room we hadn't seen before. Upon studying the map, it seemed this could be down to incorrect mapping.

In this room were some intricate carvings...

and some freaks...

Next it was up to Le Plage to meet Bigjobs and Skydiver...

We met them after a little while, and as we were chatting a group of British turned up. One of them was Max's friend from a while back.

"What the f**k are you doing here!?"

Turns out it's Wills birthday and they have cake, which was a good thing.

Eventually we all split, just to next door, Cellier...

It's pushing 5am now, and it's the end of day one, and we head North to a comfortable room for the night. Only two or three days left to go.
