Before you even begin to look through this report, there is something very important that you need to keep in mind.

It seems as if the urbex scene in Surrey has completely dried up. This might be due to a number of things:

- A lack of new sites
- Shitty weather
- General cba
- Ally Law
- Surrey CC have made it far too long to search through planning applications

*Disclaimer* I am only posting this report to give you all a kick up the jacksie. Don’t be excited, it’s a bit shite...

Park Hall was a care home operated by Surrey CC that closed in 2017. By the look and layout of the place and complete lack of communal areas I can only assume that the residents were mostly bed bound.

After it closed it became ‘protected by occupation’ so basically a private company leased the building from the council and charged a reduced rent to tenants to fill the unoccupied rooms and secure the building.

Recently we noticed that the Camelot signs came down and after a quick walk around we came across an open door.

It's very true, Surrey is a bit dead at the moment. I'm sure new locations will come up, they always do eventually. Just feels like a while since anything really good has been in the area.

There is a lot of good stuff in Surrey still at the moment. Just harder access, not fully abandoned or just not known about. For example the potential mine network in Whytleafe quarry. I've never found anything about it online but its there. Just waiting for someone brave enough to squeeze through the grill. Unfortunately I am not brave enough :coat

How difficult is it to access through the grill?

Ooooo, I'm pretty brave (or stupid). I'd give that a go.
