Visited with Stumpy 31/08/06
Well, they're building on site now with loads of cacky homes going up. Demolished buildings everywhere, workers living on site, security patrols (we saw 2). Asbestos removal going on in some sealed buildings, some completed.
However, a good explore, saw some thing we hadn't seen before... like the two massive glass windows down near the shop / reception area. Amazing they had survived, Stumpy says they were covered with a shutter previously. The main hall still looks good.
The tunnels are being stripped out and they are mint. Very clean and airy.
Finished off with the water tower, here's a few pictures from the top. Black and White only because that looks better than dark orange and black. No natural light at all.
