Went to the lakes for the weekend, and decided to see if there was anything around to take a mooch at.
Penrith ROC was about 10 mins from where we were staying so jumped in the car to check it out.
This is the first ROC post I've been to, so excuse the amount of pics
It was a night visit, and it was peeing down.
Post was in quite good condition, although a lot of the original contents have been removed.
I did see a 2008 report of the post, which showed a map and quite a bit of paperwork, which is no longer there now.
The post is was dry inside, and there was no water present in the sump. The lock thingy was busted, and there was only part of the hasps catching on the lid which stopped it from flying open.
