History from precious decay.com
This immense building used to be a boarding school for girls. It was built, just before World War II, because the old building got to small to house all the students.
Just after it was opened the school was occupied by the German forces, and all goods were confiscated to be used by the German army who used it as a military hospital and barracks for the forces. Later during the war, the building was used to school the German Wehrmacht. It took until the end of the war to get the Germans out, but then the American allied forces occupied the building. When the Americans left it was finally time to use the building where it was meant for: Education!
It did not took long before also this building was too small to house all the students, and therefor the school got enlarged. This happened several times during the years and at one time more than 600 students went to school there.
But the youth got less interested in Christianity and were more interested in science and technology, and therefor from the 1980's on less and less students signed up. About 20 years later the school decided to close it's doors and the place has not been in use again.
