Excuse my slackness. A slight lack of broadband and all that.
Some weeks ago, Payno and I are on coach going to Coventry. The joys of the rail replacement service. More money, less comfort. Bargain.
Somewhere along our way, we start peeking... "is that Ryton? Must be!".
Not in a good way though. Boarded to buggery. Like a boarding hobbyist had just won the lottery and blown the lot on boards. And then robbed his granny to get the second floor done aswell. Impossible, unless you really like carpentry and a chat with west mids police.
So, a week later... those infuriating words from payno... "No pain no gain Paul!!"...
Very true. Although there is another version of that phrase I sometimes like: "No Pain..... No PAIN!!!"
So, a week or so later, we are back at Coventry Station. And on to the compound.
A stroll along one side makes the heart sink further. It appears the UK boarding champion has teamed up with an unlimited razor wire sponsor. If there were any more coils they could have been melted and made into container load of 206s.
But the gods were there.
INSKI!!
Paint shop all there. Most of it powered up.

Rear of spray booths:
Hmmmm... Car plant... enjoy
More paintshop. (Zero: It's not there anymore mate. All gone. Don't bother. )
Some more bits and bobs from the visit Payno and I did in April...
