Pontins is the trading name of Britannia Jinky Jersey Ltd, a company operating holiday parks in the UK.
The original pontins company was founded in 1946 by Fred pontin.
The 2,440-capacity site with 512 run-down chalets specialised in half board and self catering breaks, has been empty since September 2008,and finally closed its doors 2009,following a period of sustained operating losses.
Ocean parcs bought the chain of seven resorts for £46 million in 2007,bet they regretted that.

Spent many a holiday here wen I was a child and also taken my kids there for holidays.just down the road for me.
On this visit I took my daughter and her partner ollie336 (another member) we entered with no worries and began our tour around.
Shame the place has been so trashed,spent a good Sunday afternoon having fun like old times, one of those places you never get bored of.
And we also bumped into a couple of other explorers.
