Completely forgot this placed existed until driving passed it today , but in Gamesly near glossop there is a abandoned factory/warehouse style building not far up from the main shops along the main road, the back leads onto the railway lines aswell which have some interesting dumps and bits of over grown industrial stuff laying around but it seems fairly easy to get into the place seeing as the concrete barriacdes infront of the fence look like they are actually aiding people to get in, havent ever really noticed anyone inside in all the years of living up here but may he a possible site for some to check out (i know i will!)

Also sorry if this is in the wrong section wasnt sure if to post it in the industrial section as it is mainly reports :)

EDIT:

Had a quick look to see if i could link specifically to the building from GMaps but for some reason its not letting me go onto street view for anywhere at the moment , but it is located on "Glossop Road , Gamesly" Right near the trail as the road curves round , the bus station right outside it or opposite is called "Gamesley, adj Samas Roneo" incase that helps anyone and they want to look into it further :)

EDIT2: Managed to get into street view near the viaduct and go up there via that :) good thing street view gives a nice few from the road views of it aswell as right outside :)

Its not a particularly big building from the looks of the outside and im not 100% sure what it used to be but have asked a few mates who live over near it and waiting on some answers , hopefully it has some cool stuff hidden away :)

If you want to explore the site you may not want to leave it too long. I have heard that the site has been earmarked for having houses built on it.

Sorry for rather late responses everyone , Got my camera all setup and think im feeling comfortable with it now after enough faffing about with it in garden and on all the hills around us taking random pictures of the oh so pretty flowers and adorable lil critters all obviously walking by my side like a disney movie.
Tried to go to the place mentioned but had trouble getting in round the back (railway side) and cause of weather everyone beens trotting back and fourth formt he shops and the pugs around the factory to get a good time to hop the gate :)
hopefully heading to a mill called "Hawkshead" or "voncrepe"/"Volcrepe" (not sure on names but one was a rubber mill of sorts )

link to flickr removed as this is leads and rumours

This place has been done before mate, See link below from 28DL.
The factory use to be a warehouse for all office furniture like; office draws, office desks, filing cabinets, office chairs and so on.. Mate who I knew worked in that place for some years in the 70's - 80's
