So this is my 1st report in quite some time but it feels good to get back into the swing of urbexing again.

This is by far one of the easiest places to gain entrance to and there are quite a few buildings to explore.

This used to be a 'prisoner of war' camp that was used back in WW2. It has been out of commision since then. There has been reports that this camp is to be demolished
to build some mansions but no actual planning has been made yet due to the history and heritage of this place. On Boxing Day 1945, there was a football match that occurred between the POWs and locals with roughly 700-800 spectators. The prisoners had won with a score of 11-0. The camp mainly housed German, Austrian, and Italian prisoners.

As you can see the buldings are quite destroyed but gaining access to them is very easy. Do be careful exploring during the summer as the camp is filled with brambles and stingy nettles.

On a final note, who knew that gopros actually make pretty good cameras ;)

Nice pics! I was just down that lane the other day and I was under the impression there was just a gate or fence to climb over. However, there were large sheets of steel fencing blocking the site off, and I couldn’t see an obvious way in? I am a complete noob at this, though...

Yep go pro can produce some cool pix. I only use mine for night vision though. I like the fisheye approach youve used on some shots. And the process of colour I quite like. looks a cool wander. :thumb

they are really good in bright areas and for the wide angle lens like you said. However they do struggle in dark areas with light coming in. You get this horrible glare which is hard to edit out.

They is a easy way in which involves a bit of climbing, keep looking around and you will see it no problem. ;)
