Predannack Airfield Cornwall, sorry on the lateness of this report i need to clear a back log of sites. visited with Oldskool, Dangerous dave, Deejay Flava, collingwood on a very busy weekend of explores on what was a hell of a drive but when we finally got their it made it all worth while, a beautiful day with time to take in all these scrap planes and helicopters, one of the helicopters had a wasp nest in which made shooting a little interesting and you do feel like a big kid when sat in the cock pit pretending your in top gun..if your ever in the area taking in the clay driers etc this is a must to see.

Building work began for the RAF Advanced night fighter base to protect the nearby port's of Falmouth and Penzance during 1940 and RAF Predannack Down opened 1941 as part of portreath sector, it's currant use use is the Royal Naval School of fire fighting and the RAF-626 Volunteer Gliding Squadron.
