The Printers house.
Ok so not been out in a few weeks, so back catalogue it is then.

This was a sad little explore really. Not much history on the property, other than it was owned by a printer and his seamstress wife. They had a carer that came in, and that information came from carers receipts. The bill for funerals was also signed by the same carer. The funeral bill dated 2007. The property consisted of a sort of add on kitchen, toilet, and living room downstairs, and 3 bedrooms & bathroom upstairs. So quite modest. But really old and kinda bespoke. The electric meter was still running, though the electrics didnt work.

The out buildings of which there were 3, were huge in comparison to the house. All housed machinery for printing. The photos ommitted due to poor quality sadly.

I visited here with a non member on two occasions. the second occasion was odd, as the back door was locked, and as we sat in the car, we saw a man pull up with a carrier bag, go to the house. Then two men emerged and got into separate cars. Door was unlocked again. They appeared cagey and were looking around alot. No idea what they were doing, as it appeared nothing had changed inside!

The house itself was littered with belongings, no doubt the metal fairies had been in. Also the place was ransacked. Sad sight indeed. We only went a second time as I forgot my camera the first time, and it was kinda stumbled on, whilst looking around the woods behind it, for something else, long story, so I will move onto some not so great photos.

Sorted. Nice set. Looks a cracking little place.
It was, sadly I had to grab my cheaper camera, as bigger one not charged, and it looked like it may go at any time, which in fact it did, around 6 mths later :( . Sad so sad. Thanks for liking the somewhat dodgy photos though. :thumb

I remember this place. Printing machinery everywhere (so previously referred to as the 'machinist house') ! Had to exit the place between the dog walkers going by. Good to see it again:thumb

One of the said machines in one of the sheds
