Had an offer I could not refuse from Catboy to check out the Pyestock site at the weekend. This place means something to me as I have lived in the area all my life, heard the turbines when they were working and my Grandad was an engineer there.
Anyway, met up with Catboy, Silverhatch and Firefly (cheers guys) in a nearby car park...walked through the woods to the entry point and here are the photos I took.
I should point out that I am no photographer and just used a cheapo Somerfield special 6 megapixel camera. Unfortunately it was a miserable day so not a lot of light inside some of the buildings.
I have tried to find pictures that haven't been posted before, hope you like them.
Mad fire escape from a Gantry operators box:
Some of the light plant on site, nothing dramatic taking place yet:
Was this your lunch:
Random toy helicopter:
More proof of the scale of the place:
No shit Sherlock:
Large water storage area:
More to follow...
