General - R A F Chilmark

im new to this.seen various pics of R A F Chilmark.does anyone know why the old fire engine has the front cut off.was it mounted on bogies,for the narrow guage railway? its been great looking at all the places sacattered around.happy hunting

Hi Guys. I have never seen RAF Chilmark but, I know my step-father worked there for many years in the Bomb Packing building. In the '70's, my sister worked there too but not sure which Dept.
